Careers Portal provides information on various types of jobs to help you choose and plan your career.

Why was it chosen as site of the week?

It was chosen because:

• It's never too early to start thinking about filling in those CAO forms and this site is a good starting point for choosing a career
• Information on the site is clear, well presented, up-to-date and comprehensive
• Videos of people in various careers are available

How can it be used as an educational resource?

This site may be used by Transition year and Leaving Certificate students requiring information on various careers.

Teachers may find it useful if they are considering a career change or looking for summer work.

Career Guidance Counsellors may also find it a good source of information.
