It was chosen because:

  • You can navigate around the site a using a personalised character
  • A total of 10 engaging games are presented, six of which are designed to teach about money. The remaining 4 are within the Time Machine and are devoted to fun although it costs 1 coin to travel though time
  • There's a dedicated teacher and parent section with downloadable material that complements the online lessons.

Note: High speed broadband is required and be aware that each section takes a few sceonds to download.

Also, it is not possible to to have multiple users logging in under the same name. Each login name must be unique for the website's system to recognise it.

How can it be used as an educational resource?

The lessons are aimed at covering various mathematical concepts such as counting and teaching about the value of money in general. It is ideal as a reinforcement excerice on money and is suitable for individual-based learning in a computer lab setting.
