Essay looking at the impact of the Great War on the West Tyrone town and how it was very much a 'shared war' between the Catholic and Protestant communities of that area. Uses newspaper cuttings and original images throughout.
This essay was a winning entry from students at Drumragh Integrated College as part of the ‘Decade of Centenaries’ All-Island Schools History Competition 2014 organised jointly by the Departments of Education in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
