Content objective:
This resource should enable a child to:

  • make informal deductions about 2-D shapes and their properties
  • use 2-D shapes and properties to solve problems

Suggestions for use: Use at the end of a lesson/ term to assess the children's learning of 2D shapes. The children could use ABCD cards to answer the questions so to make a whole class activity. The children could also use this as individuals, in pairs and in groups on i-pads or laptops.
