The Show Racism the Red Card DVD Education pack is used to promote education against racism, harnessing the profile of sports stars to convey the anti-racism message. The Education pack and activities is available to download. DVD which forms part of the education pack is available to order from SRTRC (30 Euro)

Suggestions for use: Teachers can contact info@theredcard.ie to order the DVD education pack. All activities provide for active learning and project based work. Before using the pack, it is advisable to do some preparatory work due to the potentially difficult nature of discussing racism with young people. (Teachers can complete the anti-racism online programme - see related resources) Careful consideration needs to be taken into the make up of groups and group rules should be established prior to discussions on how to challenge opinions not people. No silly questions allowed. Teachers can allow refer to the guide within the educational guide in carrying out activities.
