Halloween special for measuring volume by creating fake blood. Included is a teacher guide, along with a Spangler science video demonstrating an example. There are different recipes for you class to analyse and rate; from corn syrup, chocolate to topical fruit.

Suggestions for use: Divide class into groups. Students create one of the designated recipes. They then analyse their recipe and re-design to improve. Challenge students to increase/ decrease the density.
