Added: 24 Nov 2016 Contributor: Emer Ní Chéidigh Resource type: Guide/notes / Primary Source

Seo scéal a scríobh páiste bunscoile sna 1930'idí faoin Nollaig. Tá sé scríofa sa seanchló Gaelach. Is féidir leis na páistí comparáid a dhéanamh idir an Nollaig anois agus mar a bhíodh in Éirinn nó idir an seanchló Gaelach agus litriú an lae inniu.

This is a Christmas story written by a primary school pupil in the 1930's. It is written in old Irish and the class could compare how old Irish was written versus how we write it now. A comparison could also be made between Christmas now and then.
