Kindness Activities

Added: 15 Feb 2021 Contributor: Trócaire Resource type: Guide/notes / Audio / Video / Project / Worksheet

Examine how kindness and friendship help families to survive in the most difficult times and explain the meaning of peace, justice and strong institutions, through a children’s rights lens. This Trócaire resource examines the themes of friendship and kindness through the story of Awut and Ajak, two mothers living in the community of Malek, in Lakes State, South Sudan. These women and their families have helped each other to survive and thrive despite facing enormous adversity.
