Clare Quigley

I am a primary teacher working in Holy Trinity National School, Co. Tipperary. Before returning to college to complete the H.Dip in Primary Education I worked in the charity sector for over ten years in the area of overseas development and emergency aid. I am passionate about development education and promoting an atmosphere of empathy, equality, understanding and fairness in the classroom. There is fantastic work happening in our schools in the area of development education and I hope to see it continue to grow in order to help children develop their social conscience and sense of responsibility from a young age.
