Its not all about winning but If you're not in, you can't win! As a nation, we are extremely lucky with the number of competitions and awards available to students. Have a look through the below details of competitions open to schools. Advise your students to enter competitions as an extra-curricular activity or integrate the competition/awards into your scheme of work.

The 2020 Our World Irish Aid Award regional and national finals might be cancelled, but we are bringing our Irish Aid fun to your home!

Closing Date: 6th November 2020

Trócaire Game Changers competition is for young people who want to change the world and believe games are a way to do this! Due to School / Youth Club Closures as a result of Corona Virus the closing date for entries has been pushed back until Friday 6th November 2020 and the Game Changers Showcase Event will take place on Wed 2nd December in the Lighthouse Cinema, Dublin.

With great reluctance we wish to announce that, due to the on-going school closure & COVID-19 restrictions, the FÍS (Film in Schools) competition and associated annual awards ceremony will not go ahead this year.

Please note that the project will continue and our online resources are available to you here.  Please be assured that we will continue to provide support to teachers throughout 2020/2021.

What you need...

To register for a Scoilnet Account you will need to have a Teaching Council number and a roll number for your school in Ireland.

If you already have a Scoilnet Account then you can sign in here.

The benefits...
