Fireworks Notice for Halloween 2020.

The Department of Justice and Equality has information for schools on the dangers of fireworks. Aside from the physical dangers there are potentially large fines and even the possibility of imprisonment.

  • Igniting an illegal firework in any place - UP TO €10,000 & 5 YEARS IMPRISONMENT
  • Throwing an ignited firework at a person or property - UP TO €10,000 & 5 YEARS IMPRISONMENT
  • Possession of illegal fireworks with intent to sell or supply - UP TO €10,000 & 5 YEARS IMPRISONMENT
