SEAI Energy Awards 2022

Applications are now open for this year's SEAI Energy Awards.

Communities, businesses, individuals, and organisations all across Ireland are moving away from fossil fuels and taking advantage of innovative energy solutions to address the climate crisis.


The 
SEAI Energy Awards celebrate these champions and leaders. They showcase your achievements, with a view to inspiring others to do the same. If you believe that you, your community, or your organisation is among these leaders, enter the SEAI Energy Awards 2022 so we can celebrate your achievements.
Winners will be announced at our Gala Awards Ceremony in October 2022.

 

Award categories 2022

Choose from 11 different categories

Categories are open to individuals, groups, businesses or organisations, public and private sector from both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.  

This year's categories include:

1.   Large Business 

2.   Small and Medium Business 

3.   Leadership in the Public Sector

4.   Inspirational Energy Community

5.   Energy in Buildings

6.   Innovative Deployment of Renewable Energy

7.   Excellence in Energy Research and Innovation (This award comes with a €10,000 Bursary Prize)

8.   Energy Team/ Energy Manager of the Year

9.   Young Energy Champion

10.                 Transport - New award*

11.                Residential Energy Upgrades - New award*

How to apply

Applications are open until Friday 17th June

Register and complete your application online showcasing your sustainable energy achievements. Entry forms must be completed online by 5pm, Friday 17th of June 2022 through the easy to use online system.

Registering for a Scoilnet Account – your first step to contributing and sharing

What you need...

To register for a Scoilnet Account you will need to have a Teaching Council number and a roll number for your school in Ireland.

If you already have a Scoilnet Account then you can sign in here.

The benefits...

A Scoilnet account will allow you to upload your resources or weblinks to Scoilnet as well as enabling you to share and add resources to a favourites listing. Users who have a Scoilnet Account will also be able to fully access Scoilnet Maps and Census@School from home.
