Articles of agreement for The Anglo-Irish Treaty of 1921, often just referred to as 'the Treaty', were signed on December 6th 1921 in London. The articles were signed by representatives of the British government and representatives, led by Arthur Griffith, of the breakaway Irish Republic.
To mark the occasion of the centenary of the signing, Scoilnet has assembled some teaching and learning resources that have been shared by teachers in relation to the event. The resources tie in with the specifications for History at Junior and Senior Cycle.
This listing is a selection chosen by the in-house team in Scoilnet. Our database of almost 22,000 teaching resources contains many more open resources relating to this period of history - use the search to find details.
The Irish Newspaper Archive is a must check out for anyone interested in the period. Access is unrestricted within schools and can also be read by teachers who have a Scoilnet Account.
