Competition - The Book of Kells Creative Competition

Trinity College Dublin is calling on the nation to get creative this autumn and be inspired by one of Ireland’s greatest cultural treasures, the Book of Kells. Get your pens and paint brushes out, and write a poem, short story or create a drawing or painting based on the images from the world’s most famous medieval manuscript. Judges will be looking for modern and innovative interpretations of the Book of Kells from participants.

Competitions: Art and Writing. Enter one or both competitions.

Categories: Primary schools, secondary schools and adults (18+)

Theme: Colours in the Book of Kells

Prizes: There is a fantastic range of prizes to be won in each category, across individuals, schools, clubs and societies, including cash prizes and VIP trips. Each winner will also receive a certificate of merit and an invitation to the exclusive creative competition awards ceremony held at Trinity College Dublin.
