Congratulations to St Aidan’s Senior National School for winning Scoilnet’s Star Site Award. Their website has a very clean and easy to use design and layout. Visitors to the website are immediately greeted with a high definition photos of the school and surrounding area, school activities and learning in the classroom.

The website contains an easy to locate navigation bar at the top of the homepage which guides users to various parts of the areas of the website such as events, the photo gallery and school clubs and activities. Visitors to the site can also easily scroll down to find more information. The website is kept up to date with all school policies and information for parents and pupils readily accessible in the About Us section.

St Aidan’s also has a school app which is a great point of contact for parents and pupils alike. Parents and pupils are kept informed of class news, afterschool activities and school closures all from their mobile device.

The Clubs & Activities section of the website highlights the school’s involvement in Cumann na mBunscol, Hurling, Camogie, Soccer, Basketball and Athletics as well the Credit Union School Quiz and Green Schools. The school is also involved in Performing Arts and Violin.

St Aidan’s have created a website that is sleek, easy to navigate and informative for parents, pupils and the wider community. Well done!
