Congratulations to St John’s N.S. of Rathmullen, Co. Louth on winning Scoilnet’s Star Site Award. St John’s NS website has a simple layout with easy to follow tabs across the top of the page. The homepage is up to date with current information such as school closures, coffee mornings and class projects.
The school’s website has a dedicated section on their Art Installation which is a display of Art in the school by artist Kevin Flood commissioned by the school’s Board of Management. The page displays pictures of the various art works around the school and provides detailed descriptions on their background and meaning.
The website also contains important information on School Policies such as Enrolment, Internet AUP Policy and Healthy Lunch Policy. There are also links to individual class pages on the sidebar on the right which displays the activities and project work of the various classes in the school. The homepage also contains links to all the archived material from the site.
All in all, St John’s NS website is regularly updated and is a great point of contact for the parents, pupils and community at large. Well done on winning Scoilnet’s Star Site Award!
