This is a Google website which is designed to encourage girls to explore code and as a result increase the number of females in the industry. It is a simple and safe way for a teacher unsure about their abilities to code to introduce it in their classroom. There are a number of projects available for your class to participate in but the emoji one is a nice one to start with. It is a basically drag and drop program where the student moves the items (eyes, mouth etc) along the x and y axis.

Suggestions for use: The class could create their own emoji or design their own dress and then use the coding to create on online version of it.

This website is a Google initiative aimed to encourage more girls to code. It is a very simple easy to use website for those nervous or with little knowledge of coding. A great site for the teacher who would like to introduce coding into the classroom but do not have the confidence in their own knowledge of coding. This is a basically drag and drop program where the student moves the items (eyes, mouth etc) along the x and y axis.
