Augmented Reality App - Quiver

This app can be used across a number of subjects. To use the app a colouring page must be printed and coloured in, this could be part of the Visual Arts lesson. The app is then opened and the coloured picture put under the screen. The picture then comes to life depending on the picture used it can be integrated with a Oral Language lesson where a story is built around the character or were the Volcano one used for example it could be integrated with a Geography lesson.

Why is it Resource of the Week?

This is a great fun way of using technology in the classroom. Have your class colour in one of the colouring pages from the Quiver website. Then download the app and watch the picture come to life. Then have the class tell a story about their characters to develop Oral Language skills.
