Congratulations to Oola National School, Co. Limerick for winning Scoilnet's Star Site award!

The school's website has a simple layout with a good use of colour and an easy to use design. The homepage contains five tabs in the navigation bar which makes it easy for visitors to the site to find what they are looking for. The homepage also contains a link to the school's social media as well as a bulletin board of all the latest news and up to date information about the school.

The About Us page contains information about the school such as staff members, school location and a brief history of Oola N.S. The News & Events section contains up to date and current information on Halloween, football in the school ad a visit from the Liam McCarthy Cup. Each of the pages includes a short embedded video as well as photos of the event which displays an excellent use of digital technologies in schools.

The Downloads section of the school's website is divided up in various sections such as school policies, school forms, closures and special education allocation. There are also links to documents for parents who want to help and support their children in primary school. This section also contains links to information on internet safety and healthy eating. We are also delighted to see that Scoilnet gets a mention too!

Oola National School's website is well maintained, kept up to date and is easy to navigate. The site reflects the hard work and dedication of the staff, pupils and parents. Well done on winning Scoilnet's Star Site award!
