Visitors to the school's homepage are greeted with an easy to navigate layout, excellent use of colour and a photo slider containing images of daily life in the school. The home page also contains a navigation bar with nine tabs. There is also a news feed directly below the photo slider that is updated regularly with school information and news. The homepage also features an embedded Google calendar along with the schools contact information.
The About Us tab contains information about the school such as staff members and the members of the Board of Management. The Our Orchard tab describes the school' five specialised classes for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder where children with autistic spectrum disorder get tailored education. This page outlines the school's approach to special education and lists the facilities available such as interactive whiteboards, a multi-sensory room and a trampoline room.
The School Activities section of the school's website provides information on the school's Active Flag, health promotion and Green Schools. The website also gives extensive information for new parents to the school under the Parents tab on topics such as books, uniforms, lunches and learning support. There is also a section on the Parents Room in the school which is available for parents to use during the school day.
The News section of the Our Lady of Consolation's website is kept up to date and provides visitors to the site with news and information on topics and events such as Maths Week, Active Flag fundraising and Literacy Station Work.
