Use this interactive file to investigate the meaning of HCF and LCM and to find the HCF and LCM of different pairs of numbers.

Instructions:

  1. Drag the sliders to change the two numbers being investigated.    
  2. Click on the check boxes to reveal the highest common factor or the lowest common multiple of the two numbers.
  3. Click the remaining check boxes to reveal the meaning of HCF and LCM.
