The first lesson plan introduces the student to the ideas of a student council and how it can be a voice for students. The next lesson plan explores the functions of the student council through a hands on activity. This is then followed up with the creation of a mock candidates election manifesto, campaign and election. The learning path concludes with the candidate attending the first mock council meeting. This gives students a real feel of what a student council is all about.
