#Connected2 Campaign - GOAL

GOAL have launched their new #Connected2 campaign! Ahead of the UN Food Systems Summit and UN Climate Change Conference 2021 (COP26) later this year, #Connected2 explores the ways in which we are all interconnected, through the themes of Global Food Systems and Climate Change. Events in one part of the world can have an impact, whether positive or negative, on a different, seemly totally separate place.

GOAL encourages everyone to take notice of the connections they see between people, geographical areas, and global issues, and get involved in the #Connected2 campaign.

Use the hashtag #Connected2 or tag @GOALNextGen to send a video, picture or message saying how you’re connected to others, places and passions around the world!

GOAL Teacher Advisory Group – Primary School Teachers
GOAL’s Global Citizenship team develops and delivers drama-based, curriculum-linked programmes in both English and Irish, designed to help primary school teachers to explore Global Citizenship with their Junior Infants - 6th class students.

Beginning in 2020, GOAL has been formalising teachers’ input through the establishment of a Teacher Advisory Group. GOAL are now seeking 10 primary school teachers and student teachers from a wide variety of schools to take part in their Teacher Advisory Group, offering insight and guidance on GOAL’s GC strategy, activities and resources. Involvement will require approx. 3 online meetings during the academic year. These meetings will be 3 hours long each.

The group will be chaired by GOAL’s Global Citizenship Education & Engagement Officer, Ellen Corby. For more information, or to express interest in joining the GOAL Teacher Advisory Group 2021/22, contact globalc@goal.ie
