Show your students maths at work outside the classroom in Maths Week


This October, show your students how maths is relevant to their everyday lives with I'm a Mathematician, Get me out of here!

Connect your students with people working in a diverse range of careers which use maths in this online, student-led enrichment activity.

Bring maths to life for your students by getting them to take part in live Chats, ask follow-up questions, and vote for their favourite mathematician to win €500!

Places in I'm a Mathematician are funded for state-maintained schools in Ireland by SFI.

When: 26 September to 21 October (throughout Maths Week)
What: I’m a Mathematician will connect school students across Ireland with people who use maths in their careers, to show them the applications of their learning outside of the classroom.
How: I’m a Mathematician is 100% online, and accessible from any web browser with an internet connection. No audio or video kit is required.
Who: Places in I'm a Mathematician are funded for state-maintained schools in Ireland by SFI.

Registering for a Scoilnet Account – your first step to contributing and sharing

What you need...

To register for a Scoilnet Account you will need to have a Teaching Council number and a roll number for your school in Ireland.

If you already have a Scoilnet Account then you can sign in here.

The benefits...
