To mark the 25th anniversary of the festival, ILFDublin will take place in Merrion Square, a beautiful space in the heart of the city and surrounded by a rich and unique literary history. Over 3200 school pupils will have the opportunity to visit the new festival village where they can tap into their own creativity, discover and debate books, share stories and connect with other young people. The 2022 ILFDublin school’s programme features writers from Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands exploring fiction, non-fiction, poetry and graphic novels. Expect book signings, drop-in activities, workshops and plenty of memories sure to make a trip to the festival an unforgettable day out for pupils and teachers alike.
