- Net of a Cube

A net is a two-dimensional figure that can be folded into a three-dimensional object. Use the interactive GeoGebra files below to visualise net of a cube.

Instructions:

  1. Open the GeoGebra file in the full-screen mode.
  2. Drag the slider to change the size of the cube.
  3. Click on the play icon beside 'Net' to start the animation.
  4. Compare File A to File B.

Task:

Using this GeoGebra activity, drag the squares to form nets of a cube. Can you find the 11 nets of a cube? Solution available here.
