Runs for the last week of August and aims to build awareness and education about our heritage and past. There are lots of events organised throughout the country to mark Heritage Week and these are coordinated by the Heritage Council.
In the classroom: Are there special events in your area for Heritage Week? What place or building in your locality should be the centre of attention for the week?
