Thursday, 21 September 2017

International Day of Peace was brought in by the United Nations for people to think about the ideals of peace. The UN invites all nations and people to honour a cessation of hostilities during the Day, and to otherwise commemorate the Day through education and public awareness on issues related to peace.

In the classroom: The UN was originally founded to promote peace between nations. Research the UN and map out places in the world where there are wars.
