It has traditionally been marked throughout the world by meetings, discussions and exhibits on the achievements and goals of the UN.
In the classroom: Learn about the history of the UN - why it was formed and what it does in the world today. Should the UN be doing more? What about the migrant issues in the world today? What would pupils sugges be done?
