National Tree Week

National Tree Week has been organised by the Tree Council of Ireland and Coillte. It is a week long series of events to celebrate trees and their importance to our lives.
The Tree Council website has great information on Irish trees, old heritage trees and activities for schools.
In the classroom: Learn about trees and identify ones near you. The Tree Council of Ireland have resources available fore teachers in both English and as Gaeilge here.
