Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day

14 February

There are numerous stories about the origins and history of Valentine's Day. Most stories are about St Valentine who believed that those who were in love should be married. St Valentine was sentenced to death by a Roman Emperor Claudius II, who didn't want soldiers to marry. St Valentine wrote a letter to his love and signed it 'Love your Valentine.'
