We remember the homeless people in Ireland. We believe there should be no citizen in Ireland without a roof above their head. We should all have the opportunity to be equal and have shelter, food and education. Today in Ireland we remember the many families who struggle with their financial status. Jobs creation is a priority for all in the future.
We declare that every citizen should contribute to society by donating to charities and doing volunteer work.
Ireland as a country should pledge to encourage healthy living and eating. As a nation this is a priority for our future. Obesity is a worldwide issue. Every child should have the choice of healthy food and take responsibility for this as they grow.
We believe in Rural Development and encourage investment in farming. Our strong agriculture sector has contributed to the world for many years. We pledge to continue to develop this as a country.
Going forward, we vow to preserve our Irish Culture. Irish sports, music and language are integral to who we are. It is our responsibility to develop and keep them alive.
We have cultivated strong connections with other countries across the world and Irish people have been welcomed internationally for many years. We should extend this welcome to others to our country. We should respect everyone of different ethnicity or religion. We want everyone to be treated equally. We are proud citizens of Ireland. Ireland is a friendly country and we solemnly swear not to use racism or discrimination in our daily actions and speech.
We believe as citizens that it is our duty to take responsibility for our environment. As guardians of our planet we can make our environment a cleaner and better place. We will strive to stop littering.
We declare these as rights for all Irish people.
