Our Generation's Proclamations

Poblacht Na H Eireann
THE PROCLAMATION FOR POBLACHT NA H EIREANN THE NEXT GENERTATION OF THE IRISH REPUBLIC TO THE FUTURE GOVERNMENT OF IRELAND

Irishmen and Irishwomen: In the name of us and the generations that came before us, Ireland summons us, her children, to her flag and strikes in protest for her rights.

Having been told for so long that all human beings have certain and equal rights, by internationally approved organisation, the United Nations, and by national organisations, County Councils, the fact that they are not being upheld is a disgrace and it is not good enough for 21st Century Ireland.

I declare the right of the people of Ireland to shelter. Yet the tyranny and cronyism that uphold our government and ‘political system’ has taken no measures to prevent Ireland’s people being out in the harsh elements all year round. Homelessness is a real life issue that affects people from all backgrounds and countries around the world, and it is at an all-time high.

I declare the right of the people of Ireland to feel safe. Our entire world and all her people are being threatened, not only by an extremist few but also by an issue caused by the rich and affecting the poor, global warming. The long usurpation of this right by a foreign, and not so foreign, people has not extinguished the right, nor can it ever be extinguished except by the destruction of the Irish people and all those in the world who want to do good. In every generation, the Irish people have asserted their right to safety. We are facing an extinction level event caused by our own wrong doing. Every protest in history has come of people fearing for their safety but in our current state, with every single person being put in danger, it is of the utmost importance for something to be done.

The Irish Republic is entitled to, and hereby claims, the ‘allegiance of every Irishman and woman. The Republic guarantees the rights we were born with, the rights every human is entitled to, and the rights that have been taken away by the most unscrupulous who seek to deprive the world of all that is good and just.

We do not wish to bear arms, as this only leads to further loss of life and suffering, but we call to arms, in the metaphorical sense, all citizens of Ireland to protest peacefully and freely for your birth rights. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and others around you are taking action against these abuses and speaking out for what it right. We place the cause of the Irish Republic under all of us and the altruists that will be chosen to represent us to the best of their ability. We do not condone violence, but we should not be expected to go gently into that good night, for we have the power of each other and the power of mother Ireland. 100 years on from the faithful day that brought about the freedom of the people of Ireland, why should we not be entirely free, why should we not feel comfortable and safe in our home country?

We are a proud, strong, fearless nation, who a hundred years on have not forgotten. We have not forgotten the fight for freedom nor the people who have died for it. Their memory lives on in our rights, our traditions and our revived passion for our mother tongue. Therefore on this day, let us remember, let us remind the world of our valour and glory as we fight for what is right, safeguarding our country not only for ourselves but for the next generation!
