Suggestions for use: All material on the site may be used as a basis for discussion, project work, lesson reinforcement or as a source of differentiation for more able children. The cool images section could also provide for interesting lesson stimulus projected onto the whiteboard.

Why is it Resource of the Week?

  • Articles are engaging both in terms of content and graphically
  • Although some of the news is dated the articles are still relevant, for example, the relation between bow, string, violin body, and vibrating air of violins
  • It contains a collection of interactive animations that allow you to manipulate the impact of lighting, tornados and snowflakes
  • The book reviews may be of interest
  • The activities' section present information on a given topic and then provides an interactive quiz for assessment.
