Why is it Resource of the Week?

  • It's a novel way to promote physical activity within the classroom and outside of the allocated PE time
  • Olympic athletes are used to introduce the games
  • Familiar characters from films are used to model dances e.g Sid the sloth from the Ice Age
  • There's a clear emphasis on the importance of warming up
  • Movie soundtracks are used such as "I like to move it" from Madagascar
  • There is a wide range of free content
  • The registration process is free, easy and a teacher can track the progress of several classes they've set up.
