Join the Library - It's FREE

Libraries Ireland (supported by the Department of Rural and Community Development) operate public libraries which offer a wide range of services free of charge.

There is strong evidence that reading for pleasure benefits both your physical and mental health, including helping to reduce stress, slow cognitive decline, improve sleep, enhance social skills and improve concentration.

Joining up during COVID-19
While libraries are closed, you can apply to join and use their online services including e-Books, e-Audiobooks, e-Magazines, online courses, and online newspapers by filling out the online form (you may need to copy and paste the link into your browser outside Citrix).
