Shoebox Appeal

The Team Hope Shoebox Appeal has become a major event for schools around Ireland. Last year 212,000 Xmas shoeboxes were delivered to families who typically live on around 1€ a day. The gifts are given to families in Africa and parts of Eastern Europe and this year's cut-off date is November 11.

To get involved you need to find a spare shoebox, wrap it with Christmas paper and fill it with gifts for a child to write (items for school), wash (hygiene items), wear (small clothing items) or wow (a treat). Attach €4 to cover transport and promotion costs and bring it to a drop off point before November 11th.
