Stand Up Awareness Week - November 15-19th

Stand Up Awareness Week is a time for second-level schools, youth services, and Youthreach in Ireland to join BeLonG To Youth Services and take a stand against homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying. This week is an opportunity to take steps to make spaces safe and supportive for LGBTI+ young people. We will equip you with the resources, tools, and knowledge needed to host Stand Up Awareness Week in your school, youth service, or Youthreach from November 15-19th, 2021.

Training: To help prepare for the event, we are offering free online LGBTI+ Workshops in October to equip you with the tools and knowledge to feel confident hosting Stand Up Awareness Week. Secure your place and sign up today: https://www.belongto.org/professionals/standup/

Resources: For a limited time, teachers can order a hard copy of our Stand Up Pack, including a guide and posters. Click here to sign up for a pack for your classroom (deadline September 17th): https://www.belongto.org/professionals/resources-2/
