Webinar on Global Health - Science for Development

The latest global science webinar series begins on Tuesday 9th May at 2 pm and will include contributions from post-primary students who exhibited at the Young Scientist in 2023, along with input from an expert in the field who will highlight connections between those projects and their work with communities in rural Africa.

Global Health

For the opening event, selected students will speak about their research and its connections to this theme by presenting projects on the health-promoting properties of honey, and on period poverty. They will be joined from Uganda by Peace Nakitto - Nutrition, Gender, and Water, Sanitation & Hygiene Advisor with Self Help Africa.
