Ask About Ireland website provides very nice information which is presentable to pupils. In this section of Ask About Ireland, you will find history timelines, what is history, how we measure the past, evidence left behind, Ireland's early habitats, early christian Ireland, vikings in Ireland, Normans in Ireland, Ireland in the age of the tudors, Ireland in the 17th century, Ireland in the 18th century, Ireland in the 19th century, Ireland in the 20th century, Ireland in modern times. Within each section, you will find animations, lots of text information, pictures and photographs.

Suggestions for use: Use the animations in class using full screen to guide your lesson. Allow pupils to interact with the animation. Set groups and designate a topic for pupils to create a poster on using the Ask About Ireland information. Groups could be Vikings, Normans, Tudors, 17th century, 18th century, 19th century. Ensure groups members have roles to play such as reader, writer, presenter, monitor, timer, organiser.
