Phases of the Moon Animation

Animation visualising the phases of the moon from the aspect of standing on the Earth along with viewing from outer space. Students will see the new moon, waxing crescent moon, first quarter moon, waxing gibbous moon, full moon, waning gibbous moon, last quarter moon and the waning crescent moon.

Suggestions for use: Use the animation as a presentation by projecting onto the whiteboard. Students must then create the appearances of the moons in order from memory using Orea's / play-doh
