Suggestions for use: This resource can be used to show a real world case study of plate tectonics, sea-floor spreading and mid-ocean ridges in action. Or it can be used to show the effects of glaciation on the North Atlantic sea floor. It can also be looked at to examine human interaction with the sea floor with the laying of the Tans-Atlantic Cable in 1866.
