How it maps to the curriculum

Strand unit: Taking care of my body

Content objective:
This resource should enable a child to:

  • discuss and explore some qualities and categories of food
  • explore food preferences and their role in a balanced diet

Suggestions for use: Show this video during a teaching module on Healthy Eating - integrates to SESE as it also teaches about how a carrot grows, as well as the role of the farmer in producing carrots.
