Short video looking at the incentives manufacturers used in the 1960s to encourage shoppers to buy their items in the supermarket. Free gifts, chances to win prizes were among the inducements used as competition for market share became intense. This video was made in an Australian supermarket but can apply to retailing in Ireland too.
