Bocelli sings the song alone, standing in front of Duomo de Milano. An accompaniment joins in later. Video footage shows empty streets from cities around the world.

Strand: Aural Skills

Suggestions for use: This activity requires the students to listen carefully for specific details and is a good test of their aural skills. Questions are all open-ended and relate to the voice-type, accompaniment and a cappella singing and melodic features, cadence and how the music develops. Finally, a reflection must be made on the music, supported by a quotation and the video footage.
