Remixing can act as a flexible framework for broader learning outcomes. Remixing or rearranging familiar songs allows students to insert themselves into the life and narrative of the music they already love. This in turn accesses their individual creativity in a very real way.

Suggestions for use: With remixing as an approach to composition, you could have any musical element at the focus of your lessons at any particular time.
