Well done to Davidstown P.S. of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford for winning Scoilnet's Star Site award!

Davidstown Primary School's website has a very simple, clean and easy to navigate layout with good use of colour as well as embedded photos. Visitors to the website are greeted with a welcome message from the principal, a photo slider and an embedded calendar of school events. The navigation bar at the top of the homepage, which contains links to contact details, pupils' work and a section for parents, makes it easy for visitors to the site to easily find what they need.

The Our School tab in the navigation bar contains information on the Board of Management, the school calendar and newsletters for the school. There is also a dedicated section on the website for showcasing the pupils' work which includes healthy eating, drama and gardening. The pupils' section describes how they embrace digital learning by using an app called Seesaw. This enables the pupils to upload their work to a file in the cloud. It also allows parents to log on and to see their child's school work. The pupils in this school have uploaded their artwork into their digital portfolio.

The Pupil Activities section of the website outlines the previous and ongoing achievements within the school over the past few years. This section contains information on Green School, Digital Schools, Primary Science and the Blue Star Programme. The Parents section of the website contains useful information such as booklists, enrolment and school policies.

It's easy to see that Davidstown PS embraces technology when it comes to digital learning. Davidstown Primary School's website is well maintained and kept up to date and reflects the pride that the pupils, teachers, staff and parents take in the school. Congratulations on winning Scoilnet's Star Site award!
