Kildare Educate Together NS

Kildare Educate Together NS
Kildare Town, Co. Kildare

Congratulations to Kildare Educate Together National School for winning Scoilnet's Star Site Award. The school's website has a very clear and clean design with good use of space and colours. Its content is up to date and is very easy to navigate. The homepage contains a photo slider, which features the  their brand new school building and their new library, as well as an extensive selection of tabs. There are also links at the bottom of the page to the school's Twitter and Facebook pages.

Kildare ENTS's website contains a multitude of tabs with information on Policies, Enrolment and News to name but a few. Each class at Kildare ETNS has their own dedicated section on the website where they showcase their activities such as mindfulness, cycling safety and science ideas. The site also contains important information on the Board of Management, the Staff and the Parent's Council in the 'About Us' tab. The school has an excellent colour coded calendar and has even displayed the school dates for 2018/2019. Now that's forward planning!

The site also contains a section on the awards the school is working towards such as the Green Flag, Active Flag, Brat Gaelach, Blue Star Award and the STEM Awards. And now they can add the Star Site Award to that section! The school also has a very extensive After-School activities section. Activities included are Hockey, Academy of Code, Drama, Art, GAA and Spanish.

This a very simple and straight forward website that is well maintained, up to date and provides invaluable information to parents, pupils and the community about the school's achievements and activities. Well done!
