This week's Star Site

The website design has a clear differentiated approach, whereby visitors are instantly directed to their targeted area with ease. Areas to choose from include the Junior or Senior website. Details regarding the difference between the two websites are given on the main-page so that visitors have clear direction.

The Junior website design is very attractive, colourful and friendly. Thus, creating a junior atmosphere to the website environment. The design enables easy navigation throughout the website where visitors can view information about the school, policies and initiatives happening within the school life. Students are part of the school website. This can be seen through individual class areas along with class blogs. Posts to the blog are updated daily. Parents are involved in the learning process as the website environment is very inclusive. Parents can read blog posts, access notes home online, check in on the school calendar, contact the school, follow on Twitter or visit the "parent" tab to access the schools recommended educational website referrals.

The Senior website has a distinct older audience atmosphere with more detailed descriptions in particular on their history section. Tabs are available in English and Irish. To the right, viewers can access popular or recent posts. Parents can pay online, follow school activity on Facebook, get information about parent courses or read the school self evaluation.

Both, the Junior and Senior website are regularly updated to showcase teacher and student work as well as school overall achievements.
