Scoil Rois’s website is modern in it’s design. Each area of the site is clearly labelled and easily accessible. The website uses beautiful imagery - they do not look like stock imagery. The image of the Aviva Stadium with the school’s soccer teams is our favourite. The site is also responsive on multiple devices - making the website easy to navigate on mobile phones, tablets and desktops.
Each tab is clearly labelled and the drop down options work well. The most used tabs are centered on the image at the top of the site, enrol and about us. On the navy panel, tabs include home, about us, contact us, school information and school blog.
The school provides pre and after school care for children and their parents. This is a fantastic support and resource for parents with important information on where to purchase school uniforms, school policies and school times. Having the break times on the website is such a great idea. Parents can clearly see when they can arrange an appropriate time to contact the school without disrupting the flow of lessons.
Parents can also find class booklists on the school website - No more forgetting to bring the booklist with you to the bookshop. By having the booklist available online, it is easily accessible anywhere and at any times.
There are so many positive aspects to this website. Locals and historians will really enjoy the history section where the Dominican Sisters and their connections with Galway are linked. Beautiful images and photographs can be seen in this section too.
